I’ve always loved good commercials.
As a child, I recorded the funniest TV commercials on VHS tapes. And then in my early 20s, I switched from recording commercials to writing them – interning at a local creative agency in Munich where I fell in love with ideation. From there,
I moved to Hamburg to study at a school for copywriters and started as a copywriter at Springer & Jacoby in 2002 – where
I worked for clients such as Miele, Unicef and Siemens Mobile.
In 2005, I joined Jung von Matt (JvM), where in 2009 I became Creative Director responsible for Mercedes-Benz, Axel Springer, Ricola, Montblanc, Vodafone and most recently BMW. In 2021,
I was promoted to Executive Creative Director and Managing Director at JvM, responsible for many clients including the international Bosch account with the successful #LikeABosch campaign, the Wayfair account (Germany and UK), Domino's Pizza and Hamburger Sparkasse. I still love good commercials. Unfortunately, I no longer have the VHS tapes from my childhood.
